What I’ve Seen – God At Work (May 27)

Remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 1:3
I truly am so thankful for each of you.  I know I only see a fraction of the work that you do for our God and for His church called Mountainview. I see the fruit of your labor though in the countless ways you touch people’s lives and the impact you make for the kingdom.  Thank you for your sacrifices, your commitment, your passion, your expertise, your caring hearts, your determination to make a difference and go above and beyond the call of duty, and so much more.  I praise God for each of you and pray for great blessings on you and your families.
Beyond that, here is a glimpse of the other ways I have seen God at work.
  • I saw, as we all have, baptisms with people declaring their love and devotion to Jesus and we have two more this weekend.  It’s extraordinary to think of all the work God will do through each of their lives.
  • I saw the Mountainview KIds large group programming that does an amazing job of meeting kids right where they are at and speaking God’s truth to them in a way they understand and makes a lasting impression.
  • I saw our church and the community support Bridge of Hope’s garage sale to literally change the lives of single moms.
  • I saw Susan Cash proclaim her praises to God for being right with her in this time while also turning the attention from herself to others as she fully submits herself to God’s will and prays for Him to be glorified through her battle with cancer.
  • I see selfless volunteers serve each week in behind the scenes ways and up front ways to help others of all ages Grow in Christ and make our church a welcoming and friendly place for all.
In Christ,
Tracy
