What I’ve Seen – God At Work

Happy Saturday Everyone,
It’s been a busy and wonderful couple weeks at Mountainview.  Here are just some of the ways I’ve seen God at work.
  • I saw new people turning in their community cards and excited to get welcome bags and books while exclaiming “See you next week”.
  • I saw kids squealing with delight at the Stuffie sleepover and parents saying how their children want to watch the DVD over and over.  Again, when kids think that church is a fun place to be, it makes such a difference for their future.
  • I saw the building buzzing after church the last two weeks as people attended the foster/adopt meeting, Pizza with the Pastor, short term mission trip meeting, and Christian Faith 101 where great questions were asked and seeds were planted.
  • I heard an elementary teacher sharing after a particularly “energetic” class how thankful he is to be able to teach them.
  • I heard about the extraordinary care people received through visits from staff and elders during the hardest of times when they were in the hospital.
  • I saw the church family support our students on the weekends at the hospitality table and at the pancake supper.  I also saw the students honestly share what the mission trips mean to them and how they are stepping out in faith to serve.
  • I saw God work through the testimonies in services in tremendous ways to speak to people’s hearts about the amazing grace of our God.
  • I saw Mountainivew come together to bless and support Cyndi as we honored Paul McCormick.
So thankful for each of you,
Tracy
