Wednesday Prayer Services at Mountainview

Imagine how much better and more fulfilling 2019 will be if you started the new year with a renewed dedication to prayer!

We Believe in the Power of Prayer to Change Lives

“1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for … 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:1-2, 6)

We will have two weekly prayer services each Wednesday – from 6:30-7:30 am and 6:30-7:30 pm. Our building will be open and you can come at any time during the hour. The format will be simple and will include prayer suggestions, guided prayer, and scripture reading.

Both prayer services will be hosted by Pastor Ken and others from the staff and prayer team.

What You will Experience

Each prayer service will feature five different movements and themes. They are:

  • Preparing to Meet with God
  • Responding to God with Your Heart
  • Seeking First the Kingdom of God
  • Recognizing and Responding to God’s Answers and Activity
  • Casting Your Cares on God

The Wednesday morning prayer service will meet in the cafe. The evening prayer service will meet in the auditorium.

“1 Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled. 2 You who answer prayer, to you all people will come. 3 When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions. 4 Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.” (Psalm 65:1-4)
