October 8-9: Outside the Lines – Affairs

What are the consequences of sex outside of the boundaries of marriage? Many people have been harmed by the behavior of their spouse. What can be done to find healing? Are there ways to “affair proof” your marriage?

October 15-16: What About Pornography?

Many people see pornography as harmless and innocent. It doesn’t hurt anybody, or so they think. How does viewing pornography line up with Jesus’ teaching about lust and adultery in the Sermon on the Mount? What can be done to break the habit?

Contrary to popular opinion, life is about more than just sex. In fact, for the follower of Jesus it’s about so much more — it’s about bringing glory to God. The Westminster Catechism says, “The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever.” Sexual pleasure is temporary; the pleasure of living for God is eternal.
