Christmas Eve at Mountainview

Christmas Eve is a special day for those of us who are Christians. We gather together to celebrate the fulfillment of God’s promise to save and redeem the world. We celebrate the difference Jesus has made in each of our lives and pray for his peace to be born in hearts across the world.

As a follower of Jesus, I have experienced first-hand the healing presence of God in my life. That’s why I’d like to personally invite you to join us at one of our four Christmas Eve worship services. I’ll be the middle-aged nerdy guy on stage (click here to see for yourself) – so please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself.

If you have any questions about Christmas Eve (or anything else related to Mountainview), please feel free to send me an email.

If you’re looking for a place where your family can grow in a healthy, spiritual environment then we’d love to have you worship with us each and every weekend.

Christmas Eve Times

We will have three identical services at 9:00, 3:00, and 5:00. Our 11:30 pm service is a contemplative, reflective service.

All four services feature communion and a special candlelight moment.

A Christmas Tradition

We have a tradition of giving away our Christmas Eve to support ministries and organizations that are doing good in the name of Jesus.

When you visit Mountainview, you’ll discover that we have more in common than you might have thought.

Frequently Asked Questions (and our best answers)

How Long Will I Have to be There?

This depends on how long-winded the preacher gets! Normally, the worship service will last between 65-70 minutes.

What Should I Wear?

We dress casual (you’ll see jeans and shorts – even during winter). You’ll also see people in business casual attire. Dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable.

What If I Need Someone to Pray with Me?

Our prayer team is available at the close of every service for those who need someone to pray with.

What's the Best Way to Get Connected?

The short answer is to join a LifeGroup. We have a wide-variety of small groups that meet throughout the week in homes across South Denver. Jon Shaw (email), our connections director, will help you find one that is best suited for you.

May I Bring My Coffee into the Main Room?

Absolutely! Since we believe good coffee and good worship belong together, you’ll find that Mountainview Coffee (our in-house coffee shop) serves locally-roasted coffee that you will love!

Where Are You Guys?

Mountainview is located on the corner of Highlands Ranch Parkway and Broadway, in the heart of Highlands Ranch. We are conveniently located only one mile south of C-470. Click here to use Google Maps.

What Do I Call Your Pastor?

Though he has been called reverend, pastor, father, and even most holy reverend, he prefers to be called Ken. Look for him before and after each worship service in the lobby.
