Anchored: Clinging to the One who keeps us Steady
“This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.”
The definition of the word anchor is a person or thing that can be relied upon for security, stability or support; a mainstay. This idea seems to resonate deep within our hearts and souls because we live in a world where everything, and sometimes everyone, changes, shifts, modernizes, or moves on. What or who is your anchor in the midst of the everyday trials, tribulations and triumphs? There is only one constant source of stability, support and security…a mainstay in the midst of the wind and the waves…His name is Jesus.
