Join us for Night of Worship at Mountainview

“I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you… Worship God!” Revelation 22:8-9

We hope that you’ll join us this Friday at 6:30 p.m. for a Night of Worship in the Celebration Center. This event is a great way for our entire congregation to come together and worship our God.

When we are tempted to worship things and people, we are called and commanded to worship God. We invite you to come and worship with us. Sing, surrender, dance, pray, reflect, receive communion, be prayed for and just be still.

We will also have our Mountainview Prays Team and our Care Ministry on hand for any prayer needs that may arise. As we worship our great and awesome God, three prayer stations will be available in the back of the sanctuary.

A PRAYER STATION FOR PHYSICAL NEEDS–Elders will be available to anoint the sick with oil, according to James 5 and ask for healing. Healing is a confusing subject many times, because it seems that God does not answer the prayer in the way we want. Yet we are commanded to ask. That leads me to believe that God will always answer the prayer, sometimes with a miraculous healing, sometimes with a healing in an unexpected way and/or time and sometime with a new body in Heaven–but he ALWAYS honors our obedience to His direction.

A PRAYER STATION FOR RELATIONAL NEEDS–Prayer team members will be available to confidentially share your concerns regarding relationship needs for you and/or your loved ones. We are trusting God to move in personal and powerful ways as we worship and seek him on this Friday night.

A PRAYER STATION FOR LOSS AND GRIEF–God cares for the broken-hearted and those who grieve. A member of the prayer team will be present to seek God’s comfort with those who are feeling the pain of grief.

Hopefully you will be able to participate in the Night of Worship. Of course, feel free to invite neighbors, friends or family who desire and need God’s tough. Let’s continue to seek God in and for all of our needs, because He cares for you.
