If You Haven't Been to Church in a While, Things Have Changed
First of all, we dress casual. We want you to feel comfortable because we want you to feel at home. You'll find folks dressed in jeans or shorts -- even when it's snowing (after all, this is Colorado). On almost any given weekend, our teaching pastors will be decked out in jeans and possibly a Broncos shirt.
It's OK to clap. It's OK to not clap. When our music kicks up a notch, many people will clap along. And if you're wondering if being able to keep a beat is a prerequisite for church attendance, it's not. Some will raise their hands. Others will keep their hands in their pockets. Either way, it's OK.
Yes, that was a movie clip. We believe God uses many different ways to get our attention. Our creative arts team meets regularly to brainstorm ways of connecting God's truth to our own experience. That's why you're likely to see a movie clip or a live dramatic sketch during our worship time.
Kids are welcome, too. Each of our four weekend services feature a top-quality children's learning experience. Our staff and volunteers are committed to helping your kids learn the basic principles of the Bible. After a few weeks, don't be surprised if you find your kids teaching you a few things.
Then Again, Some Things Never Change
Love. Acceptance. Meaning. Purpose. These are just a few of the things that never go out of style. These are the very things you'll find at Mountainview -- maybe with a new twist or a different melody.
