At Mountainview Christian Church, we care about families. We care about how our children and students grow up. We care about walking with people through all the messiness of life, and helping them build a relationship with Jesus Christ.
One of the ways that we can accomplish this goal is through our Family Ministry strategy known as the Faith Path. We believe that God designed the family to be the primary disciple-making relationship. In other words, God gave parents the privilege of nurturing faith in the next generation. That’s why the Faith Path was created, as a step-by-step plan to help you be intentional as you prepare for key faith milestones and foster spiritual disciplines in your child’s faith journey.
Since launching Faith Path in January, we have been very intentional in highlighting our Family Ministry strategy. One of the key elements to fostering a long-lasting faith in your children is for families to worship together periodically, and Easter weekend is a wonderful opportunity to do just that!
So on Easter Sunday we will not have children’s/student programming for 1-12th grades. We will be providing you with parenting resources to guide you and your children through the day’s experiences. In addition, we will have kid-friendly elements throughout the service, including their own “sermon notes”! You can still check in your little ones to a classroom (birth-Kindergarten).
Thank you for allowing us to partner with you to reach the next generation for Christ, and we look forward to worshiping with you on Easter weekend! For more information about Faith path at Mountainview, please visit us online at: mountainviewparents.org.
