Care Ministry at Mountainview

Serving Jesus by Serving Others

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

– Matthew 25:35-36

One of our main goals is to create a community of care, acceptance and warmth for anyone who attends a Mountainview gathering.

24 Hours of Prayer is a focused time of quietness and prayer.

Noon-Noon February 1-2

We pray that God will move so powerfully among us that we will experience a change in our culture by the infusion of the Holy Spirit, producing RESPECT for God, each other and those around us.

HELPFUL INSTRUCTIONS: When you enter the church you will find a helpful guide for how to proceed. Seven stations will surround a table where you can stand, sit, kneel or lay before the Lord.  At those stations will be prompts to stimulate your heart and soul to pray for:

  • Spiritual Life and Growth
  • Godliness in our Families
  • Health, Comfort and Healing for Physical, Mental and Emotional needs
  • Opportunity, Skills and Wisdom in Jobs and Finance
  • Revival in and Through Mountainview’s Ministries
  • Local, State and National Integrity, Wisdom and Grace in Leadership
  • Help with National and World Disasters and Problems

ALONE OR WITH PEOPLE: Come alone or with a friend, family, life group, ministry team… Stay for an hour, part of an hour or several hours. Pray out loud or silently.

SIGN UP OR JUST COME: Our online sign-up only allows for one name per time slot. Even if someone is in the slot you desire, please come anyway. Also you can sign up on the poster in the foyer. Signing up assures that all 24 hours are covered and helps us know when we can expect you. If for any reason you can’t sign up, please come anyway. Sign Up Online here.

SACREDNESS AND SAFETY: The Worship Center will be free from hurry, noise and crowds so you will experience a place and time of reverence. For safety, doors will be locked at 10 pm but someone will be here at all times to let you in and security will be provided during all 24 hours.
